Rules

1) Only 5 players are allowed on each side of the court at any 1 time.

2) A team score points by grounding the ball on the opponent’s court.

3) A team also scores points when the opposing team commits a fault.

4) Teams can only have contact with the ball up to 3 times before the ball crosses the net.

5) A touch on the block will be count as one of the three contacts allowed per team.

6) Different people must make consecutive contacts.

7) Game end when a team has reached 10 points.

8) Players are allowed to go under the net during a rally as long as they do not interfere with the opponent team in anyway.

9) When serving, the ball must clear the net and land within the boundaries of the other team.

10) The server's teammate must not prevent the opponents, through screening, from seeing the server or the path of the ball. On an opponent's request, a player must move sideways, bend over or bend down.

Regulations

1) Players are to come in Unit T-shirt and PE shorts.

2) Players may choose to take off their footwear once they start playing.

In case of rain, please report as indicated and wait for further instruction from the organising committee.

Mode of Play

There will be a separate girls and guys division.

Number of teams per division: 12

Number of players: 5

Reserves: 1

Teams will draw lots to see who they will play against in round 1. Winners of round 1 will proceed to round 2. Winners of round 2 will proceed to round 3. Teams in round 3 will play against each other to determine the order of the winners.
